Children living in poverty

The number of children, aged 0-17 growing up in a multi-person household living on an income of less than 120% of the social minimum.

The social minimum is the minimum amount needed for everyday life, as determined in politics.
To compare how the household income relates to the minimum, we need to determine what the standard for the household in question is according to the regulations. The standard for a couple with children who are all under 18 is the same as the social benefits of a couple plus child benefits, which depend on age. For people over 65 the standard is equal to the AOW pension benefits.
