From 2008 onwards, figures from the Integrated Safety Monitor are used. The survey design underlying this monitor differs from that of previous surveys.
Figures from previous surveys are therefore not comparable with figures from the Integrated Safety Monitor.
Up to and including 2005 these figures were taken from the Police Population Monitor. From 2006 to 2008 figures from the National Safety Monitor were used.
