Work-related accidents

An accident that takes place as a result of or during paid labour, not including accidents during the journey between home and place of work. Work-related accidents are those that result in absence from work as well as those that do not result in absence from work.

The figures refer to the number or the percentage of young people (aged 15-22 years) in the employed labour force who had had one or more work-related accidents in the year preceding the survey.
