Child abuse, investigations as a result of first contacts

The number of investigations carried out by the Child Abuse Reporting Agency (AMK) as a result of first contacts concerning abuse of a child or children (aged 0-17 years).

The AMK conducts an investigation following a reported case of abuse or suspected abuse to establish whether a child/children has/have actually been or is/are being abused.

The National Youth Monitor presents both the number of investigations and the number of children concerned.
